Lilly Court

Built in 1938 as a factory for the American pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly, this striking building was used as a factory by them until 2007 when the company decided to end its operations there. Having remained empty for the next decade and falling into disrepair a developer acquired the building with a few to convert the floors into luxury art deco apartments. We were approached by the principal contractor to supply and install black aluminium windows and entrance doors in keeping with the iconic architecture

Outcome

The images speak for themselves. The building has been fully restored to its former glory while undergoing a stunning internal transformation. The black windows against the white external walls have reaffirmed Lilly Court as the local landmark it has always been
